As a Site Operations Specialist, you will be part of the Intel Corporate Services Global Real Estate, Operations and Workplace Services (GROW) team in Hillsboro, Oregon. You'll help deliver transformative employee experiences at our Oregon site's Aloha Campus (AL) and Gordon Moore Park at Ronler Acres (GMPRA) campuses, and you will help our team continue to streamline the way we manage our facilities in the Oregon site.

In this role, you will be the main Intel point of contact for our Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) supplier at the AL and GMPRA campuses, located in Hillsboro, Oregon. Our IFM supplier helps our facilities remain both reliable and beautiful by providing inspection, maintenance, and repair of building systems as well as custodial and landscaping services for our campuses.

As a Site Operations Specialist your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • This role oversees day-to-day activities of contractors onsite and interfaces with customers ensuring services and assets are operated and maintained according to service level agreements.
  • Works closely with facility occupants ensuring proper maintenance and facility assets are appropriately provided and assigned.
  • Ensures the facility and its procedures comply with all regulations in each applicable jurisdiction (i.e., local, state, federal, national, Foreign Trade Zone).
  • Inspects building structures, performs analysis and forecasting, and makes recommendations for repairs or renovations.
  • Oversees the execution of a portfolio of services contracts establishing a close partnership with suppliers. Inspects building structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations and supervises all staff facilities staff and external contractors.
  • Monitors site operational budget and strives to maximize efficiency in all areas.
  • Develops and helps execute comprehensive change management strategy and communication plan relative to projects and services.
  • Manages incident response and communications activities. Represents relevant scope areas in infrastructure projects (i.e., from positioning to room acceptance).

Qualifications


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research, and relevant previous job and/or internship experience. 

This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship. 

Minimum skills and experience that will get you noticed:

  • Bachelor's degree in facilities management, business administration, construction management, architecture, contract management, engineering, or related field. OR related combination of education and relevant experience

AND

  • 3+ years of combined experience in facilities, operations, engineering, and/or project/program management.

Preferred skills and experience that will make you stand out:

  • Experience in Supplier Management, Partnership Development and Teambuilding
  • Experience in Construction Project Management or Tenant Improvement project management.
  • Experience in detailed budget forecasting and management

Working Model


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
