Job Description


This position will build experience in a Technical Manufacturing industry and Support areas for Avanced High School students.

The primary responsibilities for this role will include, but are not limited to:

- Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in nonfunctioning equipment used in the manufacturing process.

- Dismantles, adjusts, repairs, and installs/assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, and rough sketches or drawings.

- Performs setup, calibration, and preventative maintenance on production equipment, and coordinates with supplier for service and repairs where needed.

- Monitors and analyzes all related data to improve and maintain tool performance and address all tool/module related issues.

- Creates reports of system failures, updates existing specs, and creates new specs that supports overall equipment maintenance/performance.

Qualifications


Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position.

  • Current Student of 12th grade at a Technical High School, in specialties like Electronics, Electromechanical, Mechatronic, or related field

  • Basic English level.

  • Unrestricted Costa Rican work permit.

  • Must be 18+ years of age by the start date of this internship (around October 7th) no exceptions.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

  • Experience using metrology equipment.

  • Windows Software Packages.

Working Model


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
