As a key member of PSG Programmable Solution Group power team, you will be responsible for all aspects of FPGA power analysis and optimization.
Responsibilities will include:
Power and performance analysis
Power model generation and maintenance
As a member of the fullchip product team, you need to collaborate with cross functional teams to define system level power optimization solutions, provide power targets to design teams, and commit product power to meet business goals. You are also responsible for flow development to enable efficient and accurate power analysis.
The successful candidate's minimum qualifications will include the following:
BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent, with a minimum of 6 years of experience in digital design
2+ years of chip and system level power and performance tradeoff and optimization
2+ cycles of deep submicron product development from RTL to GDS
2+ years of experience in power model generation, chip power management, and low power strateg
3+ years of experience in some of following:
Power implementation and analysis tools
DC, ICC, Redhawk, IR/EM, PTPX, UPF, Spice
2+ years of experience on some of following flow development
1. Using TCL/Shell to develop backend or frontend CAD flow
2. Using Perl/Python/TCL/Shell to collect data and summarize result
3. Using VBA to manipulate data and summarize in excel format
4. Track record of product execution and signoff
Additional Desired Qualifications:
Have direct experience on following protocol or IP is a plus: DDR, PCIe, Ethernet, HBM, ARM CPU
