You should possess a Bachelor of Science degree with 5 years of direct experience in the application software product development / silicon or SW validation role or a Master of Science degree in Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering with 3 relative BIOS/FW/level driver development or validation experiences. Additional qualifications include: - BIOS/FW development or validation experience understanding of software stack from BIOS/FW through OS driver - BIOS / FW / SW debug skills- Knowledge of PC / SoC architecture and IA32/64 architecture - Analytical problem solving - Demonstrated effectiveness in multitasking over simultaneous problem areas and/or assignments - Effective interactions with teams and individuals - Good team player, be able to work well with peers and seniors from various disciplines, employs good team practices - Good customer orientation and ability to interface with customers and/or stakeholders from remote sites - Good knowledge in C/C++ - Presenting and reviewing test results in various meetings and forums - Preparing customer-ready reportsThe following technical skills would be an added advantage: - Excellent knowledge of product life-cycle and software development life cycles - Skills in OS device drivers, no matter Linux or Windows- Skills in HW design, signal process or HW/FW validation.
