This is the basis for innovative solutions to increase machines/cars and users situational awareness and actively control failures avoidance and mitigation, redefining the future of industrial and transportation and saving lives.We are reinforcing our engineering team in order to expand our capability in driving and supporting Functional Safety applications based on highly integrated and highly performance electronic componentsResponsibilities & DutiesThe Functional Safety engineer will be involved in the execution of the Functional Safety lifecycle for platforms, components and IPs having Functional Safety requirements. He / She will work in a dynamic and highly motivated team and will be responsible for:-the execution safety analysis Failure Mode Effect and Diagnostic Analysis, Fault Three Analysis, etc of integrated circuits at component or IP level-the identification and the characterization of HW and SW mitigation measures preventing or detecting faults potentially affecting integrated circuits-the support for fault injection campaigns aiming to verify the performance of such mitigation measures safety metrics verification , pre-silicon and post silicon-the preparation and maintenance of specific documents and data like safety analysis report, safety verification plan etc
Bachelor or Master degree in electrical engineering or equivalent with 2-6 years of experience.At least 2 years of experience in SoC/IP design, preferred in functional verification of digital circuit and/or front to back digital design flow.Experience in HDL Languages Verilog, VHDL, behavioral and structural levels.Basic skills on reliability applied to ICs. Experience in Intel Architectures and knowledge of embedded programming C and assembler.Knowledge of functional safety basics, related standards IEC 61508, ISO 26262, etc and Failure Modes, Effects and Diagnostics Analysis FMEDA and Fault Tree Analysis FTA processes are considered distinctive elements.Knowledge of requirement management tools like IBM DOORS Next Generation is considered as an added value.Team spirit, excellent verbal and written communication skills, autonomy, fast learning capacity, proactive attitude in problem solving are considered as key elements.Inside this Business Group
