The functional safety automation tools allow the functional safety engineers to perform functional safety analysis and verification, according to the ISO26262 and IEC61508 standards.
The tool suites are made by a number of programs covering each step of the functional safety methodology at different level of abstraction.
The Safety Designer performs computation of the failure rates, functional safety analysis, computation of the safety metrics and takes care of the FMEDA process
The Extractor partition a digital netlist into elementary parts in order to provide a more precise evaluation of the distribution of the failure rate in an electronic component.
The Safety Verifier in its main components fRFI and fRUN manages injection campaigns of permanent, transients and special faults interfacing commercial simulators and classifies the faults from the safety point of view.More tools are already part of the tool suites or are being developed.
We are looking to expand the development team introducing more software developers and improve our capacity to address the request coming from the customers, deal with the increasing complexity of the electronic components and implement new functionalities in the short and long term roadmap.
The candidate will join the development team and will work on one or more of the tool, initially getting acquainted with the code base, familiarizing with current functionalities, and eventually implementing and testing new functionalities.
The candidate will also be involved in the organization of the development environment: versioning environment, issue tracking system, nightly builds and release environment, validation environment, requirements.
-Master degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent
-More than 10 years of experience or equivalent in software development
-Experience in C and C++ development and scripting languages: sh, tcl, perl, python
-Knowledge of software engineering environments, issue tracking, versioning and revision control.
-Knowledge of Agile software development Experience in EDA Software and HDL Languages Verilog, VHDL
