Software validation student for FreeD group

Job Description

Intel's FreeD group is looking for Software validation student.

Intel freeD is a dynamic and creative group with a start-up atmosphere within Intel, developing the future of video technology.

“freeD” stands for Free Dimensional Video, and is an entirely new concept for capturing, processing and rendering video that allow users to immersively interact with real, live video. 

As a Software validation student you will be responsible for development and implementation of testing components for FreeD technology.

You will be a part of the validation team and will develop tools and automated tests based on computer vision and Image processing , API's testing and will build stable validation infrastructure using continuous Integration methods.

The position will requires interfaces with SW & HW developers, system integrator, program and product managers, and customer facing groups.


Qualifications

  • BSc in Electrical Engineering towards MSc in Electrical engineering. Vast knowledge in Image processing and Image processing
  • Experience working with one of the following technologies: Digital signal processing, real-time image processing, display engineering, or camera modules.
  • Experience programming in C or C++ , creating initial system bring-up, debugging, and test codes.
  • Strong analytical abilities, capable of understanding complex systems with multiple variables
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a dynamic team environment

Major Advantage-

Understanding of 3D geometry and programming APIs OpenGL, DirectX as well as a familiarity with advanced image processing concepts.
