In this role you will be responsible for one or more of architecture and micro-architecture development, IP development support and selection, system level performance validation and optimization using industry standard tools, as well as support for verification of large scale designs.
Core Competence 3+ years experience with Video Processor Units VPU architectures, VLSI design and/or logic design micro-architectures for VPU accelerators. Deep understanding of video processing system Requirements mapping to architectures and related signal processing. Background on video streaming applications and hardware as well as software architectures in that area 3+ years experience with wired or wireless communication devices
1. Good understanding in SOC architecture, Hardware/Software partitioning, Requirement to Architecture to Implementation.
2. Well versed with System-C, C, C++ coding. Candidate is expected to have profound depth & solid analytical insights into topics like networking protocols TCP, UDP,.., interface types like HDMI, Display Port, MIPI, PCIE.
3. Expertise with embedded Processors ARM, MIPS, ATOM and related architectures, system integration and software environments.
4. Tool expertise: Adobe Frame Maker Structured XML, Visio, Mercurial, Polarion, Smartbear Collaborator, Synopsys Platform Architect are required for CHD project work.
Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or other science/engineering related field.
