Integration and Validation Student

Job Description

The GNSS Core products (GSP) group, part of Wireless connectivity solutions within iCDG (Intel Communication devices group) is looking for System Integration and Validation Student.

GCP develops and ships cutting edge GNSS solutions, from prototyping to discrete Silicon (SoC) to full product integration. Products developed by Intel GCP are designed to be integrated in high-end mobile products in the market.

The System Validation team is responsible from white box and black box validation testing of the product, and owns the responsibility to deliver products with high quality and great UX (user experience). The team is highly professional with deep understanding of GNSS technology, and massive investment in SW and automation development. Our objective is to invest in robust validation methodologies, creation of comprehensive test plan and building automated infrastructure so the execution will be efficient and reliable. Our job is to insure quality and reliability of the shipped product.

Your specific role will include:

  • Familiarity with GNSS validation methodologies.
  • Familiarity with GCP Pre-Si and Post-Si platforms, products and solutions.
  • Analyzing test results, logs and additional outputs from the validation campaigns
  • Implementation of SW automation and post processing for test logs to find root cause of issues and report to relevant development teams.


  • Student on Bachelor degree in Electronics engineering , Communications engineering or Computer science. 
  • Knowledge in a high-level programming language as C#, C++ or Java.
  • Knowledge in script development Python.
  • Highly motivated and proven capability to work in a group.
  • Have the ability to handle tasks independently.
  • Ability to work 20h per week minimum.
  • completion of the 3rd semester.


  • Knowledge of GNSS technology

  • Strong knowledge & prior working experience in C#, C++
  • Master’s degree in Embedded Systems / Computer science  / Communications engineering.
  • Familiarity with Test equipment (GNSS Simulator, Scope, Signal Generators etc…)
  • Experience in script development
    • Python
    • Perl
    • AWK
