GNSS FW Measurement Engineer

Job Description

Intel is searching for an experienced self-motivated engineer to join the GNSS Measurement Engine Firmware (ME) team. This Senior level engineer will develop methods and algorithms for the reception and measurement of GNSS Satellite signals. Will design, review, develop and implement features and algorithms for GNSS in embedded environment. Development on multiple environments: PC with full HW simulation C language, FPGA board and/on the final product. Work closely with system, HW/ASIC, and validation teams to complete features and drive it through release process. Validate ME behavior and debug FW/HW issues utilizing logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, scope and other lab debug tools in realtime environment.The engineer is expected to be a team player, and to work with many internal interfaces System team, SW teams, VLSI, Validation and others, and external interfaces customers, platform teams.


Qualifications

BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering with the following experience with GNSS programs

5+ years experience in algorithms for GNSS in an embedded environment.
5+ years experience in Real time Embedded code design and development/debug for high quality GNSS products
5+ years experience in programming in 'C' and/or C++ language
3+ Experience with ARC, ARM develop and debug tools such as logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, scope etc.

Good team player with strong initiative
Background in signal processing is an advantage
Must be independent, and possess fast & self-learning capabilities
Good verbal and written expression capability, and good presentation skills is an advantage
