Senior Leader - Pre-Si emulation/FPGA Solution

Job Description
This leadership position is to be part of the Malaysia Design Center MDC start-up team under pre-Silicon Solution and Capbilities PSC group within the Manufacturing & Validaton Engineering MVE organization in Penang. Responsibility includes leading a team to deliver solutions for pre-silicon validation in Virtual Platform/Emulation/FPGA, model build and compilation, enabling internal teams and customers for the use of platform across RTL validation, SW/driver development, power/performance validation and manufacuring validation. The focus of this team will be devices products and customer eco-system in Asia region, including supporting debug on pre-silicon platform as well as enabling external customers with pre-silicon capabilities. The successful candidate must be able to lead cross functional working group involving silicon design, platform validation, SW development team, and customers. Requires broad understanding of multiple system architecture, SoC design/validation methodologies, and emulation/FPGA technologies.


Bachelors/Masters/PhD in Computer Science/Electrical/Electronic Engineering with more than 10 years of technical experience in silicon design or validation, and 3 years of experience as team lead/manager. Knowledge in C/C++, SystemVerilog, Python, IA, SoC Architecture, UPF and Low Power FlowsUnderstanding of synthesis and timing analysis flow with involvement in at least one SoC design tape-out. Hands-on experience in silicon debug, RTL validation, SW validation, Power/Perf validation or manufacturing validation is a must. Experience in at least one of the silicon emulation/Virtual Platform/FPGA platform, in Altera/Xilinx/Synopsys/Mentor/Cadence Tools Flow. Excellent knowledge in system hardware and/or software architecture, including silicon platform boot, BIOS, OS, and different domain protocol like JTAG, DDR, eMMC/SD, PCIe, SATA, USB, SPI, I2C, I2S, MIPI, power management and etc. Should have strong communication, cross funtional team leadership skill, analytical skill and a good team player.
