The Open Source Technology Center within the Software and Services Group is looking for a Bachelor's or Master's degree student to take up an internship position for a 6-12 month fixed-term period.
The intern would be working on embedded Linux development. Daily tasks in this position include documentation, validation, preparing and upgrading packages in our distribution using Yocto toolchain, fixing bugs found during the development and developing and maintaining build infrastructure and test automation solution used in the project.

You are currently studying towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in any of the following disciplines: Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
You must have 2-3+ years academic studies behind you and skills and experience in the following areas:
-Practical knowledge of Linux OS and its internals,
-Good C/C++ and shell programming skills, Python and Perl are a plus,
-Practical experience in software engineering,
-Fluency in written and spoken English.
Success in this position requires good team working skills and a high level of motivation and drive. For your application to stand out, you have previously participated to open source software development and understand what words like Yocto, Git, OE-Core and IoT mean.
