Infrastructure and DevOps Engineer

Job Description

• Ensures the efficient planning, provisioning, installation/configuration, maintenance, and/or operations of the hardware and software infrastructure required to build, validate, and release a wide variety of hardware and software products and projects.
• Works closely with development and quality teams to derive infrastructure design requirements, build, test, and automate tools appropriate to the project, and/or implements and maintains of those systems within the constraints imposed by Intel enterprise infrastructure (IT) and other governing bodies.
• Owns the end-to-end delivery pipeline, including source code management, versioning/tagging strategy, component build and packaging, test automation tooling, release staging, acceptance and/or indicators, required security and IP scans, any third party conformance tools, artifact storage and distribution, and disaster-recovery planning.
• Identifies opportunities and implements solutions for increased automation, reliability, and/or velocity within the pipeline through implementation of robust infrastructure telemetry, KPIs, and indicators, and by monitoring and applying industry best practices.
• Need to be able to Support OSAT environment.
• Able to be on-call and sensitive to business critical demands.

Qualifications

• Min 6 years experience in IT infrastructure services and engineering support, with Bachelor's degree in related field.
• Min 6 years experience in managing Windows servers and Linux operating systems (Redhat, SuSE, Debian, Ubuntu), with full understanding on NFS/DFS structure, strong knowledge on SAN/NAS/VeeAM or Veritas backup solution, and strong network fundamental knowledge.
• Min 3 years Experience in supporting OSAT environment with full understanding infrastructure demand
• Min 5 years of technical project management and able to work with multiple region business unit and counterpart independently at odd hours.
• Able to operate flexibility at odd-hours including on-call to enable business critical demand
• Experience in lab tester/modules, application and infrastructure support will be added advantages.
• Strong knowledge on scripting by using BASH, PERL or Python, able to write code for automation demand
• Certified in Windows Servers OS, Linux OS, Storage or Backup Solution is added advantages.
• Experience on Automation technology and AI solution will be added advantages
• Professional certification in Automation, Data Science or Cloud Azure, AWS will be added value.
• Good operating system (Windows Server and Linux)debugging skill and understand technical work flow.
• Good knowledge on configuration management or automation tools will be added advantage. Example Ansible, CFengine, Puppet or Chef.
• Experience in data center system management and maintenance will be added advantage.
• Able to work independently with minimum guidance. Fast learner and strong team mindset. Customer and result oriented, familiar with SAFE/AGILE framework.

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
