Software Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Job Description

Our Engineer:

• Designs, develops, validates, and debugs Intel's Edge Platform software, which is a modular, open software platform enabling customers and enterprises to develop, deploy, run, secure, and manage edge and AI applications at scale with cloud-like simplicity.

This role:

• May include the development of reference and commercial grade edge platform software, integration with other components, maintaining infrastructure and E2E life cycle of highly automated SW pipeline process and improving or enabling customer designs to obtain the greatest value from Intel products within the edge and cloud.

Qualifications

Qualifications required to be successful:

• BSc or higher degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of experience
• Proficiency in GoLang programming language.
• Experience in software development, development methods and practices.
• Knowledge of AWS (EKD) and it's services
• Experience/knowledge of Jenkins, Terraform, K8S, Docker
• Experience with version control systems (preferably Git)
• Deep knowledge of Linux OS.
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Ability to work in a team as an active participant
• Effective cross-team cooperation in a multinational environment
• Willingness to learn new topics, improve own skillset, influence processes to increase team efficiency

The following will be considered an advantage:

• Familiar with Python, JS programming language
• Knowledge of ArgoCD, Istio, traefik, Kyverno, Open Policy Agent.
• Familiar with automated validation and processes

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
