Graphics Hardware Engineer

Job Description

Experienced on power optimization and attainment of high performance designs. Develops power test plans, tracking and analyzing designs for power optimizations, workload analysis, end to end power budget studies. Understand RTL, power flows, good with scripting, automation. Knowledge of Graphics processors, understanding of AI/HPC workloads, Gaming workloads. Experience in computer architecture and microarchitecture. Participates in the definition of architecture and microarchitecture features of the block being designed. Applies various strategies, tools, and methods to do perf at power analysis. Strong leadership skills and problem solving skills.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors/Masters degree in Engineering with 6+ years of experience with strong background in computer architecture
- Strong knowledge in 3D Graphics, AI/HPC domains
- Strong knowledge in power and performance analysis and optimizations
- Strong skills in RTL, microarchitecture, architecture
- Knowledge of end to end ASIC flow
- Required programming skills in Python or Perl or Tcl, SystemVerilog or Verilog,
- Great team player and have strong leadership skills


Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Engineering with minimum of 8+ years of experience with strong background in computer architecture
- Work experience in 3D Graphics, AI/HPC domains or high performance data path designs

- Develop power test plans, tracking and analyzing designs for power optimizations, workload analysis, end to end power budget studies.

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
