You will be responsible for, but not limited to:

Develop and/or validate software that enables Intel GPUs.
Scope can span the entire stack, from firmware and device drivers through APIs and the application layer, and may also include the tools, infrastructure, and technologies necessary to develop, profile, optimize, and productize Intel GPUs or graphics/GPGPU software solutions.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering, or relevant STEM degree with 3+ years of relevant experience in 3 or more of these skills, or

Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering, or relevant STEM degree with 2+ years of relevant experience in 3 or more of these skills:

Deep understanding of CPU and GPU hardware architecture/design.
Industry standard API's and frameworks such as DirectX, OpenGL, OpenCL, Vulkan, surface flinger, HWC and Display Interface like DP, HDMI, MIPI, etc.
Software development- C, C++ and/or Python.
Expertise in Deep Learning Frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch.

Preferred Qualifications:

Data center experience in terms of platforms, scale out and orchestration and E2E solution.
Software and silicon debug knowledge.
PnP (Power and Performance), Silicon Design, and Open source Environmental Operations.
AI and AI at scale.
Linux KMD (i915), Media and Compute stack.
Virtualization (Software VTd, Hardware: SRIOV).

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $106,231.00-$159,109.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
