As a Product Platform Development (PPV) Test Engineer, you will be responsible for a variety of pre- and post-silicon tasks relating to system level test, including:

• Developing and Validating new PPV test programs, test content, and hardware.
• Execute Test Program deployment which include setup, validation, and release to ATM in accordance with BU's requirements.
• Performing system level debug and characterization of PPV test programs.
• Specifying custom motherboard and BIOS features (DFT) needed to enable Products.
• Manage and address issues from manufacturing team, analyzing, and identifying potential root cause, and recovery action.
• Engaging with partner organizations to get required support to adapt, modify or develop specific test solutions for NEX differentiated silicon (features or use cases/conditions)
• Opportunities to focus on influencing the definition and debugging system level test platforms as well as to propose, drive, and develop new test capabilities and methods.
• Able to lead task force and ensure continuous breakthroughs of the tools/module improvement and stability.

The Product Test and Development Engineer should possess the attributes below:

• Strong technical and troubleshooting skills to resolve test related problems,
• Willingness to work and communicate across organizational boundaries.
• Willingness to autonomously plan and schedule own tasks, developing solutions to problems independently.

Qualifications

What we need to see (Minimum Qualifications):

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering field with 3+ years of semiconductor testing experience or Master's Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering field with 2+ years of semiconductor testing experience with applied testing experience in at least one of the following technical areas:

• Product or test program development, NPI activities and trouble-shooting issues related to test.

• Electrical test method, test template and BI/Class/OLx/PPV test program structures.

• Microprocessor Assembly and Test Engineering (ATE) pre-silicon.

• Design for Test ( DFT ) hardware testing methods and tools.

How to Stand out (Preferred Qualifications):

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering field with 6+ years of semiconductor testing experience or Master's Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering field with 4+ years of semiconductor testing experience
• Experience interpreting product data including Class, OLx and PPV data, finding failure root cause and inline indicator and driving solutions.
• System Level test exposure.
• Coding experience, C++, Python, Power-BI, SQL
• BIOS and Firmware skills.
• Knowledge of different OS architecture and application implementation in Linux, Windows, EFI environments.
