Intel's Sales, Marketing and Communications Group (SMG) is looking for candidates to join our organization for a 12-week Summer 2024 internship. SMG is collectively responsible for driving the accelerated adoption of Intel technology. You will work in an innovative, fast-paced environment with experienced sales and marketing professionals, and you will have exposure to many of the aspects of SMG's functions. As an operations analyst intern you will have the opportunity to work with managers and staff on various projects that deliver world-class customer engagement, grow revenue and help Intel gain/maintain a competitive advantage, build business strategies and help influence decisions and process through data analysis and market intelligence. SMG works across business units to amplify the customer voice and deliver solutions that accelerate their business. We work across numerous industries, including retail, enterprise and government, cloud services and healthcare as examples. The operations team focuses on forecasting, driving alignment with factory production and delivering efficiency tools and our marketing capability drives demand and localized marketing in locations around the globe. Our sales force navigates a complex partner and customer ecosystem while shaping product roadmaps, driving value for our customers, and collaborating to harness emerging technology trends to deliver comprehensive solutions. The Operations Analyst Intern scope could include but is not limited to:
Data collection, management and analysis
Managing sales cycles and strategies
Managing partner programs and systems Developing customer presentations
Developing and maintaining dashboards
Presenting to executive leadership

A successful candidate will demonstrate the following: Strong analytical and data management skills. Ability to work through complex and ambiguous business scenarios. Demonstrated skills in driving processes and solving problems. Leadership skills managing stakeholder relationships. Ability to consistently deliver results under time constraints in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrate ability to influence through excellent written and oral communication.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:
Enrolled Full Time and pursuing a Masters/MBA degree in Business Management, Economics, Supply Chain, Accounting, or related field.
Minimum GPA: 3.0
Must be enrolled and progressing in a degree earning program during the internship, with a graduation date after the completion of internship.
Ability to work full time (40hrs/week) for approximately 12 weeks between June-Septermber'24

Preferred Qualifications
Understanding of supply management, demand forecasting, market analysis or operations
Ability to solicit and listen to critical feedback to improve forecast, while simultaneously demonstrating confidence in numbers and analysis
Knowledge of Salesforce
Experience engaging with and supporting customers.
Experience using Excel, Access, Vizio, Power BI, and/or Tableau.
Familiarity with Intel Architecture products and customers and a working knowledge of broader PC market drivers and trends

*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience

Working Model

This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need. This role may also be available as our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
