The AI Software Product Management team within Intel's Software and Advanced Technology Group (SATG), is responsible for the strategy and management of a portfolio of data analytics, machine learning, and deep learning software products that maximizes customer value and business impact.

In this role, you'll combine your deep technical knowledge and passion for AI, with your software product management expertise, to define and manage next-generation products that help Intel win in A. You will be focused on foundational AI software products, including AI compilers, abstraction libraries, programming languages, and/or runtimes, which are the essential building blocks for AI framework and tool builders.

Functional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate with engineering and customer support colleagues to define winning product strategies

  • Define product roadmaps that enable the shortest path to ultimate success for our products

  • Interact regularly with customers to gather feedback adjust product plans accordingly

  • Align closely with business unit (DCAI, CCG, NEX, Labs, more) objectives and requirements

  • Interlock with silicon platform software planning (PSP) teams on software product requirements

  • Work closely with technical AI software architects to define and refine Intel's software stack

  • Partner with marketing to define messaging and build key collateral to drive adoption

  • Engage the AI developer community as an expert and advocate for our products


Qualifications


Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical / scientific discipline

  • 10+ years of experience in a technical computer science-based role

  • 5+ years with a strong track-record of bringing foundational AI software products to market (e.g. programming languages, compilers, libraries and/or runtimes)

  • In-depth knowledge of and experience with Intel Software Developer Tools


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Track record of grit and persistence in the face of tough challenges

  • Self-starter with high agency, energy and curiosity who will drive results with our products

  • Strong team player who is unimpeded by ego and focused on making fast progress

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a highly-matrixed environment and in a role with significant ambiguity

  • Effective at working across orgs, functions and levels, including with senior executives

  • Strong familiarity with Intel's AI products and technologies

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $162,600.00-$284,620.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience


Working Model


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
