Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Architect, design, and provide technical oversight of the development of Intel AI software.

  • Scope may span the entire stack including firmware, compilers, drivers, frameworks, protocols, algorithms, and/or applications.

  • Provides software structure and validation direction as required to enable Intel AI software solutions that integrate AI algorithms to solve applied problems in various disciplines.

  • Responsible for pathfinding and providing technical direction for AI software development to solve applied problems across disciplines, including Computer Vision, NLP, and Large Language Models.

  • Interacts with technologists across Intel and within the industry to evaluate feasibility of requirements and determine priorities for development.


Qualifications


Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering or any STEM related degree with 6+ years of experience or master's degree in computer science, electrical Engineering or any STEM related degree with 4+ years of experience.

  • 4+ years of experience in software architecture including documentation, requirements, architectural simulations, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Compute acceleration of AI workloads on NPU and GPU.
  • Experience with performance modeling, analysis, and profiling of key deep learning inference workloads
  • Experience with Compiler Architecture and prototyping compiler optimization techniques for deep learning networks
  • Collaborate with hardware and product teams to influence the direction of deep learning HW and SW
  • Ability to work independently and lead one’s own development efforts.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Washington, California: $186,552.00-$279,772.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience


Working Model


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
