Job Description


SMG's Global Customer Success is a worldwide team which effectively partners with all Intel business units to provide a full range of customer support that spans the lifecycle for Intel's products, programs, and services. Our global services are scalable to meet the needs of every customer from the single end user to the large-scale distributors and original equipment manufacturers. These services include design-in testing tools (TNT), pre-sales tech enablement (ADC) to post sale technical support and warranty (ICS) for all Intel branded products, programs, and services. 

The successful Product Support Engineer (PSE) in Intel's Global Customer Success organization partners with Intel's customers, ecosystem software vendors, and the opensource community to develop, integrate, test, tune, debug, optimize and differentiate software. PSEs engage as a technical expert or trusted technical advisor to drive Intel value and differentiation in or across disciplines such as Enterprise, Cloud, Client, HPC, AI, Gaming, Graphics, Analytics and Edge. They utilize deep domain and market segment expertise to research, develop, and prototype software that leverages and drives adoption of Intel product capabilities. They evangelize software tools and technologies to the ecosystem to enable and support Intel products. PSEs are involved in application enabling, product development, and product hardening to launch future products and provide customer support. They may deliver collateral and training, including competitive/differentiated benchmarks, and may identify and drive key workloads into product requirements and landing zones for future product design, simulation, projection methods, and tools. PSEs drive product improvements that minimize the need for explicit enabling and maximizes scale adoption.


Qualifications


Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS in Computer Engineering Computer Science or a related technical field.

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in:

  • Machine learning and deep learning as demonstrated by patents, publications or other means.

  • Deep learning model development and inference especially with Intel OpenVINO.

  • Programming skills in Windows and Linux using C++ and Python are a must.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • M.S in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field

Working Model


This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need. This role may also be available as our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
