Software Product Manager

Job Description

Be a part of transformation initiative for Intel Labs Designs, develops and manages capabilities/activities required by Business units . Identify business requirements, priorities functional and system specifications that meet business user requirements, maps them to systems capabilities and recommends technical solutions. Drive/Configures system settings and options, plans and executes unit, integration and acceptance testing, and creates systems specifications. Identifies test scenarios and cases, executes test cases, documents test results, test scripts and provides quality assurance results to the business. Assess current business procedures, system practices and IT modification design and recommends improvements as required. Designs new systems by analyzing business requirements, constructing workflow charts and diagrams, studying system capabilities and writing specifications. Collaborate with multiple teams to drive/resolve dependencies, co-ordinate development. performs troubleshooting, solves complex bug issues in production systems or applications, and collaborates with subject matter experts on issues. Anticipates complex issues and discusses within and outside of project team to maintain open communication. Serves as a technical lead on a subsystem or small feature(s), manages projects of small to medium size and complexity, performs tasks, and applies expertise in subject area to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Supply Chain or any related fields OR equivalent experience (10 years).
At least 7+ years of experience in the following:Production Planning, integration with procurement, logistics and sales domains (e.g., MRP, Distribution Planning, Order Promising)
Demonstrated ability as a Product Owner with hands-on knowledge and understanding of SAP PP application-based solutions and proficiency in end-to-end integration with other functional modules e.g. SD/MM/IM/VC and etc.
Ability to develop, implement and support complex business processes in an SAP environment; to design, build, test and deploy S/4HANA Production Planning including FI, MM, SD and QM technical solutions
Demonstrate technical expertise in end to end configuration of sales and supply chain processes in SAP (or S/4 HANA) SD, MM and PP modules
Proven track record of successfully delivering enterprise process design and applications focused on logistics and sales
Understanding in integration topics to other tools (e.g., Neptune, Azure etc.)
Knowledge in programming languages such as ABAP is an advantage


Preferred Qualifications:

Understanding of all aspects of a variant configuration product model including classes, characteristics, configuration profiles, ALE, tables, variant pricing, functions, BOM class nodes, preconditions, selection conditions, procedures, complex super bills of material
Experience with Engineered to Order (ETO) processes, MTO / MTS set up, Order BOM and Engineering Change Management (ECM) is helpful
Functional understanding of SAP Variant Configuration software, best practices, and relevant cross-functional knowledge of SD, MM, PP, FI SAP modules and the integration points with VC
Scrum or Product Owner certification.
Successfully delivering business outcomes using Agile improving the velocity of the team.
