Who We Are

Come join Intel's Client SOC Architecture (CSA) team as a Client SoC Performance Architect. The team is responsible for developing advanced modelling and methodology techniques and using them to conduct architectural exploration and optimization.

Who You Are

You will be responsible for driving and developing advanced modelling and analysis techniques and using them to define future SoCs architectures with industry leading performance and power. This role will require close cooperation with the architecture, validation, software, emulation, design, post silicon and power teams.

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: defines and develops new methodologies and models working with partner teams to coordinate and drive to fruition with the goal of developing architectural features to exploit performance opportunities across product generations, influencing their adoption. Identifies, analyzes and resolves subsystem and SoC architectural bottlenecks for complex multiple IP applications. Willing to effectively work in a team, strong initiative to deliver high quality results, enjoys exploring breadth of technical options and takes informed risks.


Qualifications


Bachelor's egree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering with 8+ years of industry experience -OR- a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering with 6+ years of industry experience -OR- a PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering with 4+ years of industry experience

Experience should be concentrated in the following areas:

  • Computer Architecture: 5+ year of experience with simulation-based performance modeling, and performance analysis.
  • 5+ year of experience with SystemC, C/C++, python, and git.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Dissertation work in computer architecture and performance/power analysis.
  • Experience with cache hierarchy, memory, and/or interconnection network architectures.
  • Experience with Software Architecture and Development using clean coding principles.
  • Experience using machine learning and data science for analysis.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $162,041.00-$259,425.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience


Working Model


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
