Quality Engineer

Job Description

Leads and directs a team of customer quality and reliability engineers and guides their functions, activities, and responsibilities. Provides guidance to product and design teams to create, maintain, and continuously improve quality standards and targets. Integrates all available customer quality intelligence to project future quality system needs. Manages complaint resolution program, develops key metrics to track complaint redressal status and customer satisfaction feedback. Negotiates with and influences cross functional teams and business partners to remove barriers and drive results without compromising the overall quality of the end deliverable. Responsible for enabling teams to execute through clear goal setting, facilitating work, maintaining accountability, applying differentiated performance management, and driving team results. Drives results by inspiring people, role modeling Intel values, developing the capabilities of others, and ensuring a productive work environment.

Qualifications

� BS in EE with 5+ or MS in EE with 4+.
� Very good written and verbal communication skills.
� Project or Program management experience is a plus. Good organization skills and should know Excel, Confluence (updating Wikis) and bug tracking tools like Jira.
� Knowledge of FPGA software and IP flows. Ability to do root-cause analysis, triage defects and assess potential customer impact. Scripting knowledge (Python and Perl) is a plus.
� Ability to actively contribute towards the release convergence process including tracking and analyzing Release Quality metrics and KPIs.
