Do you want to innovate and create an industry-leading developer cloud? The Intel cloud team within the Software and Advanced Technology Group (SATG) is developing and shaping the way people think about computing by focusing on developers, ecosystem partners, and academia.

We are redefining the space with cutting-edge cloud services which leverage our portfolio of industry-leading SW and HW. The Financial and Foundational services team owns services and systems that help with our customer onboarding including registration, authentication, authorization, and all the customer’s billing and invoicing processes.

As a Cloud Software Engineer, you will:

Design, develop and maintain highly scalable, available APIs and microservices to provision and manage services.
Ensure the security and compliance of services, adhering to industry best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to services.
Collaborate with technologists and services teams across Intel to implement solutions.

Qualifications

You must possess the below requirements to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork and/or classes and/or research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualification:

The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of experience -OR- a Master's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of experience -OR- a PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of experience in

4+ years' experience in below areas:

Solid understanding of Application software and system software concepts
Designing and operating distributed systems
Design and development of APIs and microservices in GolangStrong Kubernetes - hands on in deploying and managing clusters

Preferred Qualifications:

Programming languages (Go, Python, etc.)
Infrastructure as code (Ansible)
CI/CD and DevSecOps concepts

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado, New York, Washington, California: $186,552.00-$279,772.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience

Working Model

This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need. This role may also be available as our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
