BIOS Validation Engineer

Job Description

Working as a BIOS Validation Engineer in Gdansk, Poland, you will be a part of the PCH BIOS team under Intel's dynamic Platform Engineering Group. This innovative team is a part of the global team that is responsible for developing UEFI based BIOS for the future Intel's processors and chipsets for mobile and desktop client platforms.You will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of BIOS/UEFI test code and related documentation for Intel next generation chipsets, work closely with Intel silicon design teams during the planning, development, and validation stages of the program.

As a BIOS Validation Engineer you will have a chance of solving complex technical problems rapidly, focusing on high quality coding and technically leading well defined tasks. Having natural interest in software/hardware interactions, debugging low level software and hardware related issues will set you ahead of the competition in your opportunity to revolutionize the computing industry with Intel.


Qualifications

  • technical knowledge of computer hardware, embedded software and firmware
  • programming experience in C or C# language
  • knowledge of PC architecture
  • familiarity with various interfaces: PCIe, USB, SATA, SPI, I2C
  • written and spoken English communication skills
  • exceptional work ethic
