Uses and applies emulation and platform level tools and techniques to ensure performance to spec.
Responsible for the development of methodologies, execution of validation plans, and debug of failures.
Requires broad understanding of multiple system areas and requires interfaces with Architecture, Design, and Pre Silicon Validation teams in improving Post Silicon test content while providing feedback for future ondie debug features.

Functional tests are written in C++ and running at Linux OS environment, work require understanding in Linux OS and coding knowledge in C++
Work involve knowledge in C++, OS and networking
Due to the complexity of the systems the validation activity is very challenging.
This discipline is unique and interesting as it requires HW and SW understanding, as well as Validation thinking.
Familiar with Networking protocols - Ethernet and TCP/IP PCI experience
