Intel Corporation's Software and Services Group (SSG) is looking for an intern to work in the area of platform firmware resiliency. The Platform Armoring and Resiliency (PAR) team within SSG is responsible for creating a secure firmware capability within Intel and the Eco-system to proactively ensure the standard boot and recovery infrastructure of Intel architecture platforms is both usable and secure. Interns will work on Intel's Atom, Core and Xeon line of products, that span internet of things, client and server platforms. If you have a desire to learn about security from what the processor & firmware do to provide hardware protections for operating systems like Windows and Linux. If you would like learn to design firmware and software to help protect, detect and recover from cyber-attacks, come to Intel for an internship. We will give you a hands on experience in the future of hardened security technologies and building more resilient systems.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
- Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related discipline.
- Must have a legal right to work in the US without sponsorship.
