In this position, you will be part of the Graphics Software Engineering team in Visual and Parallel Computing Group and will be working with other talented software engineers to deliver DXVA driver and related/similar support for media algorithms design and verification for Intel integrated graphics products.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Responsible for design, implementation and enabling the industry video coding standards on Intel graphics/media platforms, including MPEG2, VC1, H.264, HEVC, VP8, VP9, AV1 etc.
Responsible for building the next generation of high efficiency video coding on next generation of cutting-edge Intel processors.
Responsible for implementing the media architecture interface for both Windows/Linux, and supporting the future Windows/Linux graphics architecture
Responsible for analyzing performance and optimizing media driver on various Intel graphics platforms for better performance and power-consumption
Responsible for support the entire product life cycle to deliver elite media codec driver
Minimum skills and experience:
You possess at least a Master or a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
You have 2+ years of experience with the following:
Proven programming skills in C and C++.
Deep understanding of operating systems architecture
Preferred skills and experience:
In-depth understanding on video compression standards Track
Proving experience on video codec programming
Hands-on experience on DXVA/LibVA driver development
