A Commodity Manager coordinates purchasing activities with manufacturing and engineering departments to acquire inventory in a cost effective and timely manner. Acquires and maintains technical understanding of products purchased. Performs cost analysis and volume planning for major commodities. Obtains materials, components, equipment and services. Develops new supply sources where vendors and suppliers are inadequate. Monitors the cost, schedule and scope of assigned subcontracts to assure best quality at best value. May recommend cost saving proposals including make versus buy analysis, alternative sourcing and vendor evaluation criteria. At higher levels may require domestic or global expertise of assigned commodities.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.
• Candidate should possess a Masters of Business Administration. Candidates with a degree in a related science or engineering field such as Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, and others are encouraged.
• Candidate should have four to seven years of semiconductor or packaging fabrication experience in a commodity management role.
