Intel Data Center Group DCG is looking for a Software Developer working on contributing to products developed in Networking Division ND located in Gdansk.
ND is a group co-located in multiple sites, including USA, Israel, China and Poland/Gdansk, which is critical part of the whole organization. We are looking for experienced engineer, who will be working on internal architecture, code implementation ANSI C and delivering solution for Intel network adapters, including existing and future designs.
We are primarily focused on providing internal and external applications dedicated to perform adapter's diagnostics, used to perform customer's debugging and update crucial adapter components EEPROM, NVM.
We are taking part in complete lifecycle of our components, which means initial design, implementation and validation. Daily activities require close cooperation within the team members and with other teams, like architecture, FW and other SW components.
You will have a chance to work with multiple operating systems, several pre-production HW, multiple network technologies and brightest minds in the industry.

Must have: - Knowledge of PC-based System Architecture, BIOS, Operating Systems & Applications, - Ability to create debugging environment and tools, setup network hardware according to specification, - Proven experience in working on SW projects in teams, - Minimum 2-3 years recent experience in implementation of SW application, - Very good knowledge of Linux and Windows environment & programming, - Very good programming skills in C and above systems' kernels - Good command of English, - Bachelors or Master's degree in Software Development Engineering / Computer Engineering / Computer Science, or a degree in similar technical area or relevant experience. Nice to have: - Microcontrollers programming skills, - Familiarity with Ethernet MAC and PHY Hardware components, - Knowledge of NVM architectures, - Good Polish in writing and speaking, - Base knowledge of driver programming, - Strong skills in the overall programming, Soft skills: - Good communication skills, - Excellent team work skills including ability to work with multiple and remote groups worldwide, - Creative approach to problem solving, - Open mind, - Systematic and well organized,
