BIOS Engineer

Job Description
Develop platform BIOS, reference code and related documentation for Intel silicon products such as next generation chipsets and processors. Responsible for authoring BIOS specifications, creating chipset reference code and developing / supporting platform BIOS for Intel's CPUs and chipsets. Work closely with Intel silicon design teams and be responsible for all software and BIOS related issues during the planning, development, and validation stages of the program.


Qualifications

Candidate must possess a minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field with more than eight years of experience. Candidates with a Master's degree and more than five years of experience may also apply.Must Have Skills-Self-Starter, ability to lead complex assignments independently.-Excellent Stakeholder management skills - ability to work across organization boundaries.-Strong C/ C++/ assembly coding skill, analytical and debugging skills.-In-depth knowledge with x86 architecture, PC BIOS architecture, and variety of embedded tools, operating systems and bus protocols. -System level debugging skills that enable the root causing of potential issues at the operating system level.-Strong analytical and problem solving skills.-Good communication skills.
