Automotive Ethernet Design System Engineer

Job Description

This Silicon Debug System Engineer position is within the Ethernet Product Line for Automotive Customers.

The team is responsible for all post-production issues that may arise in Ethernet silicon.

In this position, you will be responsible for:-

  • Troubleshooting, System debug, Customers Failures Reproduction and System Level Testing.
  • Reproduce Customers Failures On Application In Intel
  • Instrument Customer System to collect further information
  • Characterize failure functional modules within the design
  • Isolate failing functional modules in the design
  • Create Test Flows that screen failed units
  • work jointly with Production and Q&R Team


Qualifications

You should possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical/Electronics or computing Engineering with five years of experience in System Engineering and/or validation.

  • Knowledge should include ability to debug problems at ASIC level, with a deep knowledge of the System and its components.
  • Candidate should have good team work skills, be well organized and show demonstrated ability to work and solve problems independently.
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Knowledge of Communications Devices is strongly preferred.

The following knowledge would be an advantage:

Familiarity with Ethernet MAC And PHY components

Experience with ASIC System Validation of communication devices, Board level design debug, device driver development, firmware development, Communication Systems Architecture
