VLSI HW Design student

Job Description

In this job, you will join Intel's development center in Haifa, which is a part of Intel's worldwide development group, in charge of planning and designing a wide range of VLSI products. The group you will join is in charge of developing the CORE of Intel's next generation of CPUs, taking part in all design phases from initial definitions and studies till mass production. The group makes use of state of the art VLSI design tools, while meeting very challenging timelines, quality, low power, area and speed constraints.


Qualifications

As a VLSI HW designer in our team, you will be in charge for analysis and methodologies of digital circuit design of various blocks in the processor. The design development will either be done by using Synopsys synthesis tools or by manually designing circuit/place/rout them by using Intel's state of the art Design, Static Timing analysis and signoff tools. As a part of your role, you will deal with Hardware design challenges such as area congestion, power reduction and tough timing constraints. BSc in Student Electrical or Computer Engineering is required
