In this role you will define, develop and automate validation test cases for all components of the Windows based Intel Graphics driver e.g. 3D, Media, Display on various Intel client platforms using reference and/or form-factor design systems against product requirements. You will be working with a cross functional team of debug, silicon, customer enabling and software development engineers in an Agile / Scrum environment to execute on the test cases, file sightings / issues with clear steps to reproduce and if needed triage / debug the issue to ensure faster resolution. Identify opportunities to automate test cases and proactively add to the validation automation test suite. Success in this role is measured by the coverage of the automation test case on the graphics driver code, the impact of the sightings and issues found on the quality of the product, and the throughput of test execution and sightings filed.
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or relevant engineering with a minimum 3 yrs experience in software development and/or validation of system level software e.g. driver, firmware in a Windows or Linux environment preferably in a graphics domain. Solid C/C++ Programming Skills, with expertise in at least 1 scripting language like Python. Solid understanding of computer architecture essential. The candidate should be proactive and self-motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a resourceful person who can work under limited guidance, and someone with creative thinking.Inside this Business Group
