Intern for D2D system design

Job Description

In response to the ever increasing demand for wireless access and connectivity, cellular products have been lately moving towards solutions that enable communication in scenarios lacking traditional cellular coverage. Device-to-Device D2D, where two or more devices in range of each other communicate directly, is one of such technical solutions.

As one of the largest suppliers to the wireless value chain, Intel is at the forefront of the research efforts aimed at enabling D2D for cellular products. Within the scope of the internship, you will support a group of engineers and researchers in creating innovative solutions for D2D wireless systems. Specifically, you will join our team in designing and assessing the performance of such solutions by means of detailed link- and system-level simulations.If preferred, the internship can be offered in conjunction with a graduation project.


Qualifications

Familiarity with the following topics is required:

- Digital communications

- Signal processing

- Written and oral English

Exposure or experience with any of the following topics is preferred:

- Programming in MATLAB

- Programming in C/C++

- LTE/LTE A

- Team work
