Sr Solutions Architect- Automated Driving Data Center Solutions
Autonomous Driving and Connected Vehicles are exciting new business opportunities for Intel and represent a tangible example of the 'Virtuous Cycle'. Datacenter solutions for autonomous driving and connected cars that provide capture & management of data, develop driving policy models, and simulate driving behavior of those policies is in high demand as the auto industry moves to enable new technologies in their vehicles. Strategic partnerships with Auto OEMs and industry solution providers are needed to deliver these datacenter platforms.
We are looking for a Senior Solutions Architect, who as the strategic and technical expert on Intel's data center technologies will help build and deploy data center solutions for autonomous cars and actively engage in winning new business by leading customers from RFP/RFI to deal close.
Engage consultatively with automotive customers to understand their business, functional, and technical objectives. Uncover challenges, pain points, and requirements from the viewpoints of line of business executives, system architects, research and development teams, and IT organizations working on autonomous driving.
Drive a cohesive solution strategy, defining solution architecture for the customer that extends core platform capabilities
Capture and prioritize customer requirements for Intel development teams that are specific, measurable, and timely
Articulate Intel's portfolio of data center capabilities, including hardware technologies, systems, software, and services to the customer in verbal, written, and presentation form.
Prioritize and handle multiple prospect calls, RFP/RFIs, SOWs, meetings, and follow-up items, ensuring a timely and professional response.
Initiate, and carry forward proofs of concept and pilot projects with the customer to demonstrate capabilities of the solution stack
Ensure customer success by working across organizations within Intel to deliver timely information, products, and technologies to the customer to ensure a solution sale
Accountable for developing and scaling business across the customer base
Minimum of 10 years of industry experience in designing and building data center solutions or equivalent years of experience after a graduate degree
Knowledge of cloud innovations, datacenter infrastructure trends, requirements, and operational systems
Demonstrated expertise with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, GCP including setting up geographically redundant cloud services, understanding both business and technical challenges of deploying solutions on cloud-scale infrastructure
Proven expertise in AI, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning technologies
Experience working with IT leaders in the automotive industry
Experience with open source and commercial software platforms for big data analytics and machine learning, including Hadoop, Spark, TensorFlow, and others
Strong customer presentation skills, with polished communication and engagement
Ability to collaborate and successfully influence multiple levels of management, across multiple business units and stakeholders, including vertical segment teams, strategic planning, platform engineering, and product marketing as well as direct engagement with external customers
Ability to balance technical implementations with end-user business value
Strong business savvy, with a solid grasp of business models and negotiation techniques
Education-BS Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications or other related Graduate degree desired
