In this position, you will be a member of the server power-thermal central team in Intel's Server CPU Development Group SDG. SDG is developing multiple next generation products across Xeon SP/D/Phi segments. In this role candidate will be leading power-thermal area for the server SOC. He/She will be interacting with multiple partners to drive power landing zones to develop next generation best power/performance product. Candidate will be working with IP teams to define Power roll-up and convergence methodology. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to -Drive Server SOC Power WG, working with key partners architecture/performance/bin-split.-Drive path finding and future innovation opportunities with major server customer base in the power-thermal area-Develop IP power roll-up and convergence methodology

Bachelors, Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering strongly preferred. Minimum Requirements:5+ years of work experience Skills Desired: - Good chip/CPU level understanding required on power consumption, power estimation and low power design methods Experience required on power (dynamic and leakage power) estimation and reduction at architecture/RTL/block synthesis and circuit design level. Familiarity with power estimation tools, such as PrimeTime-PX, Power Artist will be an added advantage.
