Quality System Organization Intern

Job Description

Come intern with Intel's Technology and Manufacturing Group (TMG). You will coordinate, develop and improve Quality Management Systems to support new market quality standards. The candidate will be responsible for assisting or leading technology and manufacturing quality focused teams to improve existing quality systems, or evaluating new potential projects.

The program manages technical activities to meet quality standards and customer requirements. Understands and interprets quality standards and customer requirements for TMG. Utilizes industry standard techniques and risk assessment tools and  problem solving methodologies.

The responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Contribute to preparation of process control plans to be used during production to maintain product quality.
  • Technical support to factories and customers during factory visits and audits.
  • Perform technical internal audits in accordance with Intel procedures.
  • Assists with quality systems training development and implementation.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or Chemical Engineering or related field.
  • Must have the unrestricted right to work in the US without requiring sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with and or managing teams using and converting technical data into customer presentations.
  • Experience with Quality Management Systems in a manufacturing environment.
