Intel Gdansk is expanding its research and development team in the field of High Performance Computing. Accelerated Workloads Group AWG is looking for an engineer, who will be a member of a team that supportssoftware development process. In this position you will design, develop, deploy and support a number of solutions supporting software development processes: from source code versioning, through building and testing, to completing on release. Additionally you will be engaged in providing overall monitoring and integration of the tools. The solutions are developed in-house but also based on various 3rd party products like: Jenkins, QuickBuild, Git, Atlassian Jira, etc.
You should possess a Master's Degree, preferably in computer science, be creative and open to extending knowledge and learning new technologies. Your experience should include a proven track of contribution to software projects in areas connected with development and operations:- Operating systems administration: Linux or MS Windows- Programming in Python- Programming in scripting language: Bash, PowerShell or any equivalent- Understanding of source control concepts, experience with Git- Networking concepts and infrastructure TCP/IP, client/server architectures- Interest in automation and process improvementAdditional Experience/Skills that are an asset:- Programming web servies in Python using Django, Flask, Pyramid, Flask or Tornado- Programming db layer in Python using SQLAlchemy- Programming Web UI in HTML/CSS using ExtJS, AngularJS, ReactJS or any other similar framework- Configuration management software SaltStack, Puppet, etc.- Familiarity with continuous integration concept and tools like Jenkins- DB administering/tuning: SQL e.g. MySQL, SQL Server or No-SQL databases e.g. MongoDB- Web servers administration: e.g. Nginx or Apache- Monitoring systems e.g. Nagios, Zabbix- Virtualisation: VMware, VirtualBox- Experience with ReST or RPC services- Experience in designing, monitoring and supporting a large-scale, highly available, redundant hosting infrastructure- Experience with Agile methodology and toolsInside this Business Group
