SoC Design Engineer

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Position will involve working extensively on micro-architecting & PPA (Power, Performance, Area) analysis of the product
    • Product power optimization solution with power tradeoff analysis
    • Product front-end design floorplanning & area optimization solution with tradeoff analysis
    • Product performance analysis & benchmarking
  • Technical analysis & benchmarking on hardware design with similar product in the market
  • Product/Subsystem definition, planning and development which includes IP definition, sourcing, customization and integration for the next generation FPGA and Custom Logic and/or ASIC design
  • Product/System level integration which includes custom circuit design, electrical simulations and validations to deliver IP, Subsystem and Fullchip building blocks of the next generation FPGA
  • Position will require working on CAD tools, scripting skills, HSPICE simulations & circuit analysis
  • Lead and provide technical guidance to junior engineers on product development and execution


Qualifications

    • BSEE or MSEE or equivalent with a minimum of 8 years of experience in wide range of analog/digital IC designs for FPGA/Custom Logic and/or product development and execution
    • Possess excellent analytical skill and provide effective solutions to technical issues in a timely manner
    • Capable of leading a team of engineers to work on challenging hardware product development design
    • Possess excellent communication skill for successful interaction with wide range of engineering groups on deliverable across different geographical sites
    • Independent, a team player, self-motivated and enthusiastic to overcome any new requirements and challenges
    • Knowledge and/or experience in circuit design, CMOS transistor or FPGA, would be an added advantage
    • Knowledge and/or experience in multiple tapeout in deep submicron 28nm, 20nm, 14nm & below would be an added advantage
