This is a commissioned sales position in the Client Computing Group vertical sales organization.
The role of Connected Home Sales Development Manager - Japan is to drive growth Client Computing Group /Connected Home Division revenue resulting from direct and indirect sales of Connected Home Division product in Japan.
Specific responsibilities include:- Work closely with Intel Japan Regional Sales Group teams to identify and develop design wins for Connected Home Division product within covered accounts. Ensure account teams have appropriate product knowledge, sales strategy, and access to support resources for success. - Match OEM customers with appropriate ecosystem resources ODMs, ISVs, channel.- Work with Intel Japan Industrial Sales Group team to position appropriate Connected Home Division's OEM solutions with Japan telco and cable operators.- Develop strategy to grow tier 2 OEM business through value-add distributors in conjunction with I distribution team.- Periodically present concise view of overall health of Connected Home Division's Japan business, along with recommended growth strategy to multiple stakeholders, including Connected Home Division 's business units, Smart and Connected Home Sales staff, and Intel Japan management team.
Inside this Business Group
Successful applicant should have: - 5+ years of experience in sales of consumer or service provider CPE networking equipment such as broadband gateways and routers, or related embedded technologies - Experience in complex ecosystem sales environments, including working with distributors, OEMs/ODMs, service providers and consumer retailers. - BSEE or equivalent is preferred.Business education or practical experience. - Proficiency in both Japanese and English language.
