Manufacturing Technician

Job Description
  • Manufacturing Operator Contract Employees ICE are responsible for performing functions associated with all wafer production operations, including photo lithography, thin film, etch, and diffusion.
  • Performs setup, calibration and preventative maintenance tasks on wafer fabrication equipment.
  • Collects and evaluates operating data to conduct online equipment adjustment and ensure process optimization.
  • Participates in safety forums and site Emergency Response Team as required.
  • Assignments are routine and repetitious in nature.
  • Work performed within narrowly defined parameters.
  • Limited judgment required in resolving standard problems.
  • Normally receives detailed instructions on all work.
  • Work is typically checked and monitored on a routine basis.


Qualifications

- Candidate should possess an Associates or Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM subject such as Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Math, Statistics, or related fields.
- Ability to work in a clean room environment on a compressed work week schedule (Twelve hour shifts rotating between three and four days a week - including night shift)
- Spend the majority of time walking and/or standing on production floor.
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to read, comprehend, and execute complex instructions.
- Candidate must have permanent, unrestricted right to work in the US without sponsorship.
