Senior Server System Integration Architect

Job Description

We are looking for talents for Senior Server System Integration Architect role who will be responsible to speed up DCG product development velocity, to be at the front end to enhance our product's quality, and to bring passionate and creative thinking to server technology and products.

Your roles and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Develop strategy of a continuous integration for DCG product roadmap, including strategy and process for converged SW/FW development, integration verification and problem solving, and covering major DCG silicon (Xeon, Xeon Phi, and Atom) and technologies (3d XPoint, FPGA and Machine Learning).
- Lead key issue analysis and debugging across multiple departments and geos. Actively work on continuously improvement of bug closure efficiencies.  Innovate in debugging technologies and methodologies.
- Lead process improvement and drive for word class engineering practices and center of excellence.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Qualifications listed as preferred will be considered a plus factor for applicants. Minimum Qualifications: Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or relevant technology with 15+ years of applicable industry experience; Or PhD in aforementioned area with 10+ years of applicable industry experience. Industry experience must include: -Solid understanding (and better hands-on development/validation experience) of popular server/PC technologies including PCI/PCI-E, USB, SAS/SATA, i2C/SMBUS, IPMI, BIOS/EFI and DIMM, etc; -Thorough understanding of Operating System architectures (one or more architectures like Windows, Linux and Android) -Proven capability to debug & troubleshoot complex HW/SW issues related to BIOS, OS, Hardware, as well as Hardware-Software interaction; -Demonstrated good communication skill with internal and external stake holders, strong problem solving technique. -Traceable record to hold accountable to make the whole department and group members to success. -Demonstrated capability to work in fast-pace and cross-geo environments. Excellent English and Mandarin communication capability in writing and oral is required. Preferred Qualifications: -Ability to lead debug and troubleshoot complex problems including stability issues (BSOD, soft hang and hard hang) as well as system related issues. -Past proven experience leading and driving integration programs involving across geo-distributed teams, OS venders, customers and 3rd party vendors. -Extensive knowledge of Intel x86/x64 platform hardware and software technologies, like RAS, error injection, redundant features.
