Job Description

The Programmable Solutions Group PSG has been delivering industry-leading custom logic solutions to customers since inventing the world's first reprogrammable logic device in 1984.

In order to take advantage of the many opportunities that we see in the future for FPGA's, PSG is looking for great software engineers to join our team

Responsibilities:

As an experienced Software Engineer in the Logic or Physical Synthesis team, you will be developing and maintaining the Analysis and Synthesis engine responsible for parsing hardware description language (HDL) designs and optimizing them in preparation for device-fitting. We are looking for an experienced technical leader who will design and implement novel optimization algorithms that will improve the quality of results (QoR). As a senior team member, you will be given flexibility and latitude to define the specifics of your algorithms, as long as it delivers QoR!

               

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • 6 years of work experience with logic optimization/synthesis with EDA with a Bachelor or 4 years of work experience with a Master
  • Experience with C++

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
