Who we areCome help us change the worldThe Technical Computing TC Initiative, within the Enterprise & Government E&G segment in the Data Center Group DCG focuses on driving end-user demand spanning from workstation computing to the largest supercomputers in the world. TC not only contains some of the fastest growing and most dynamic workloads crucial to business innovation & scientific discovery, but works on solving grand challenges which saves lives including more-accurate weather prediction models, genomic sequencing of specific cancers, and solving energy discovery and production challenges to name a few. The TC team is looking for a solutions engineerWho you areYou work directly with end customers as part of the sales cycle to determine their most pressing challenges, and help them to solve their challenges by identifying the best solutions for their needs and their business objectives. You will understand customer problems, and solve them through the combination of Intel and SI partner solutions. You will promote and evangelize Intel, by ensuring that the solutions utilize the breadth of Intel's products. You play a fundamental role in developing the future success, growth, direction and leadership within key partners/customers and Intel's go-to-market activities around Technical Computing Workloads. Frequent travel within the region will be required.What you do- Leverage Intel reference architecture as the blueprint to drive E2E solutions with SIs based on prioritized use cases in multiple verticals such as Manufacturing, Healthcare, Oil and Gas, Government, Energy, Utilities, Transportation, Financial Services, Digital Content Creation, etc...- Design, develop, and analyze overall architecture to determine that hardware, software and architecture solutions meet performance, scalability, reliability, and security needs.- Work with E&G Marketing & SMG teams to build and maintain use-cases and content highlighting joint Intel and SI solutions- Support SI and Sales teams in technical proposals, E2E solution development and pre-sales/solution development activities. - Manage multiple projects through direct and virtual teams Drive E&G revenue goals on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis using a metric-driven management approach.- Develop direct relationships with Senior Management and key decision makers in SIs and end customers within the named vertical and target sectors.- Provide regular reports showing key opportunities under pursuit, what solutions we are creating, and sales with existing clients to up-sell additional offerings.- Provide strategic insight to other key executives regarding product direction.- Actively participate in high profile vertical forums and trade shows, and represent Intel's direction and interest in industry bodies and public forumsYou have- An undergraduate degree in electrical or computer engineering and an MBA, or the equivalent business acumen- Knowledge of and experience in pre-sales, sales support and business development, technical marketing, technology solutions and architecture across key accounts in the international marketplace- A passion around one or more of the Technical Computing vertical markets Manufacturing, Healthcare, Oil and Gas, Government, Energy, Utilities, Transportation, Financial Services, Digital Content Creation, etc...You might also have- 8+ years of experience in technical solutions.- 6+ years of experience building and operating HPC infrastructure- 6+ years of experience with hands-on solution design and development hardware, software, system.- Previous and relevant services industry experience, which includes, but not limited to subject matter expertise and access to key industry contacts, e.g. executives and thought leaders, as well as tier one decision makers and influencers. - Domain expertise in one or more Technical Computing vertical markets Manufacturing, Healthcare, Oil and Gas, Government, Energy, Utilities, Transportation, Financial Services, Digital Content Creation, etc...
