The Networking Division ND SW is looking for a Network Validation Engineer who plans and arranges the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices. This Engineer provides test area with parameters for sampling testing and specifies tests to be performed.
We give you opportunities to compile data and define changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures or new testing requirements. In this position, you will execute planned tests report results and issues verify fixes in the code. We are looking for someone who wants develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment.
This position is also responsible for definition and implementation of automated test framework for the tested software products on all supported by that software operating systems. Successful candidate must have:
-Ability to create debugging environment and tools, setup network hardware for reproduction of customer issues.
-Troubleshooting, problem solving, multi-tasking, organization, and customer management skills are critical to success in this role.
-Excellent team work skills including ability to work with multiple and remote groups worldwide.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills with customers of all skill levels.
-Background in networking architecture and networking products - preferably with Intel Ethernet products LOMs and adapters.
-Proven abilities in designing of automated test cases and test scenarios.
-Experience in implementation of test suites and automation frameworks.
-Knowledge of Networking protocols and functionality including Ethernet/UDP/TCP/IP.
-Familiarity with Ethernet MAC and PHY Hardware components.
-Experience in programing PythonEducation Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Development Engineering / Computer Engineering / Computer Science, a degree in similar technical area or relevant experience.
