Snr Staff Engineer (Silicon Architecture Engineer)
Job Description: Concept and System Engineering for Modems, Routers and WLAN integrated home gateways. Chip Architect having strong understanding of Processor architecture and subsystems including Application Interfaces and understanding of application software requirements. Performs all aspects of System Engineering, architecture definition for communications ICs. Performs system simulations in C, C++, SystemC, Matlab on Advanced Platforms using Virtual Prototype Working with customers on mapping requirement and assist in product system definition. Determines HW/FW/SW Partitioning along with SW/FW architect. Development of micro- architecture together with VLSI team. Has good understanding of RTL design flow and low power methodologies. Responsible for hardware architecture specification, data sheet and relevant customer documentation. Supports system development and customer support teams towards customer production definition.

PhD/Masters in Engg. Degree in Science/Electrical/Electronics Engineering Experience in IEEE, DSL/WLAN/Ethernet/GPON standards, as well as in System architecture of MAC/Layer-2 function. Good understanding of VLSI architecture and design. Proficient in C/C++/SystemC and Matlab. 10-12 years' experience. Team player with an open and co-operative personality.
