Client Systems Engineering is part of a team that sets the standards, designs and implements the global infrastructure for Windows endpoints. This includes Client OS configuration and upgrades, such as Windows 10, the Client build process, automated software distribution and the design and maintenance of the backend application infrastructure for these systems. The team is also responsible for setting hardware and software standards as well as proactively managing the health of the endpoint environment.The ideal candidate will be passionate about technology and thrive in a fast paced, leading-edge environment. Key responsibilities include managing and optimizing continuous integration and delivery of Windows 10 as a Service by designing, implementing and managing the lifecycle of the SCCM backend and client agent infrastructure, preparing and qualification of packages for Windows OS deployments, deployment reporting, monitoring infrastructure health and proactively addressing dependencies, such as network, security, software pre-requisites, as well as troubleshooting issues related to the server and client Infrastructure. In addition, this role will encompass Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery planning and execution, and software and hardware compliance scanning.Designs, builds, and integrates applications and platforms to support Intel's business needs. Responsible for application packaging deployment that meets IT standards. Responsible for understanding various client and/or server architectural blueprints, operating system build technologies, system patching, system management & auditing automation, as well as server build processes. Designs and appropriately builds out all environments, which includes use of external application landing zones DMZ, Network Load Balancing NLB, Storage Area Networks SAN, Microsoft OS and SQL clusters, and data encryption. Provides these services on both internal and externally facing applications, and interacts with customers, IT partners, system architects, product managers, design engineers, service and support teams, and other system users who require input regarding their planned or existing system.

BS in Engineering or Computer Science with 7+ years of experience
Strong knowledge of global software distribution concepts and infrastructure management.
Experience with multi-site Microsoft SCCM implementation in support of complex distributed environments
Ability to manage large scale OS deployments.
Ability to create and modify reporting analytics designed to monitor and measure the success of OS deployments.
Knowledge of SQL Query Analyzer or other tools for reporting
Working knowledge and practical experience with scripting languages: VBS/CMD/Power Shell or other related languages.
Thorough knowledge of Windows operating systems 7/8/10, MS Office products, PC configurations, PC hardware, networking and server environments
Working knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy Experience providing 3rd level of support as required, with demonstrable troubleshooting skills
Experience working in an agile, team-oriented collaborative environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to create clear and concise documentation
Willingness to continually learn new products and technologies
