PSG Divisional Planner

Job Description

The strategic planner position focuses on partnering and influencing strategic deliverables throughout the organization. The position requires a combination of business acumen, organization savvy, networking capabilities and expertise in certain technical areas. The strategic planner runs certain strategic process, visits customers, and influences his organization via these processes. Activities include running component, ingredient, platform or initiative POPs, competitive analysis, market analysis, and participating in multiple strategic task forces.


Qualifications

Must have Qualifications
- 4 years Bachelors degree
- 5 years experience in materials planning
- 5 years of hands-on experience building advanced Excel functions, eg. Macros, VLookup, etc.

Additional requirements
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong communication skills
- Prior experience with Planning tools (i2, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Supply chain certification – CPIM, CSCP or similar
- Prior experience in Semiconductor or Hi-tech manufacturing industry

- Demand analysis
- Incorporating various demand signals and committing on a supply plan
- Coordinate build execution
- Coordinate delivery/shipment execution
- Lead Time management
- Inventory Control to support corporate MSOH targets
- Liaise with various resource planning teams to ensure capacity & materials support
- Liaise with Customer Service on deliver commits
- Liaise with Engineering on yield & quality expectations
- Drive continuous improvement in the planning process
